Making the most of festival season

Friday evenings are usually quieter than the weekend, which makes it easier to talk. When the music starts, join the line. Nobody minds if you do not know the steps of the kalamatianos or the syrtos, and it is the easiest way to meet people.

Many parishes have young adult groups that help run their festival, which is a good way to meet people your age.

If you meet someone on Greek Connection, a festival makes a relaxed first date: plenty to eat, live music and people around.
