Assimilation is tough to fight. You live in a friendly place. It gives you freedom and to live your life the way you want. Hang onto your heritage, it what made you. Do not take it for granted for when its gone it will not come back.
Give your children another language by speaking to them in Greek. Trying to learn a language after 5 years old take 4 times the effort.
In a place like Melbourne, where there are so many Greeks, there must be schools, record shops etc. Any Greek TV? Hang in there.
