Well the darker Greeks would have a light brown-brunette white pigmentation while the lighter ones would be pinkish white.Medium complexion would refer to a mid point between the two.

Skin pigmentation is measured on the unexposed
parts of the skin.Once may have very light skin but if they tan easier they will appear darker on the exposed skin.

Greeks are evenly divided between a brunet white skin color and a pinkish white skin color like central and northern europe.
