If you're a Christian then there are more similarities than differences between you. You have to examine whether langauge would be a problem for you regarding his family, and for your boyfriend and your family. The other issue would be about where you would live, my opinion is that the reason Greek parents often take objection to their child marrying a non-Greek is the issue of where the couple will live (like if one partner is English or Swedish they may settle away from the parents). Good luck to you both, remember even Alexander the Great married his Persian Roxanne!
