You're missing the point. The point is that racial stereotypes are selected by the culturally dominant group as a means by which to denigrate/belittle and disempower the dominated group. Because you laugh with the cultural majority, this makes you the same racist as they are. In fact, it makes you a pathetic imitation of the culturally dominant group. Go ahead and laugh at stereotypes, you deserve it. And yes I am Greek and I love to have a laugh but not at the negative expense of others. Also, I don't know what kind of Chinese or African-American people you know, but they must be as sad as you are to laugh at denigration of themselves. Real sad.
