Your best bet would be to start with the embassy of greece in Washington, DC page -- www.greekembassy.org. Other useful sites include gogreece.com (some history) as well as greek government sites (which do include english pages) -- you can link to them through the Hellenic Foundation for European and foreign Policy page -- www.eliamep.gr.
