: After a short absence, I return to this board and I must say I am shocked that no one noted 25 March Greek Independance Day. Less that 200 hundred years ago our brave forefathers and foremothers began the final heroic bid for independance from the Ottoman yoke of ignorance, exploitation and slavery to the Bei. Have you forgotten your heritage fellow Greeks? I won't say 'dropi' that you have, just remember that your freedom was not just invented but fought for with blood and tears not too many generations ago, AND HAPPY GREEK INDEPENDANCE DAY TO ALL.
