( I believe) family from Kasos. Our name
was Americanized to Masters in or about 1910.
My Papa's American name was James Nicholas Masters.
I believe his name before America was

(I have heard this name from my elders,
so excuse me if it is wrong)
I think it may be Mastropaylos
since this is the only name close
that I found in Kasos white pages.
