If you mean the tickets for the flight to Greece, you should pre-book them ahead of time...like now. for one because it will be cheaper and you will be guaranteed a seat on the flight. If you mean a hotel to stay at in Greece, yea, I would do that now too. Pre-book, that way when you get there, you won't be going crazy trying to find a nice hotel to stay at. July/August is a high volume tourist time and it will be difficult to find somewhere to stay.
If I may ask, what Island(s) will you be visiting? I am going to the islands myself in July-August. I will be going to Mytilini where I have family and friends. If you have not visited Mytilini, I recommend it. Enjoy your vacation!!
