Refer to my post below regarding the learning of history. And by the way, being suspicious of Turkish intent in the Aegean is NOT to support oppression - why do you jump to that conclusion? And if you knew more about contemporary politics, you would see that the US does indeed support Turkey due to it's perceived strategic importance to US interests in the area (which I'm not criticising so please don't over-react to that). Muslims within Greece are NOT oppressed, do you know how many Albanian Muslims Greece has accepted as citizens due to the recent troubles in Albania? Mulsim Albanians work and live in Greece with a freedom they never had in Albania. Do you know a dsami (mosque) is being built in Athens for the needs of the newly settled Muslims? I bet you didn't. So before you over-react with more patronising underlining of Greek's faults, learn your facts. You obviously do not live in modern Greece.
