My point entirely Basil. Our muslim brothers demand understanding and generosity of spirit when they mostly don't demonstrate (and never have) the same to others. I know it's fashionable these days not to condemn anyone for their beliefs, but the plain truth is that some things remain worthy of condemnation - such as fanaticism and extremism and violence to others because of their faith. This includes the violence to their cultural heritage. Do you know that the EU just this last week condemned the government of Turkey for (still) selling off to private dealers ancient Hellenistic and Byzantine artefacts - the desecration continues and yet our muslem friends demand more than they are prepared to show. I will take a Greek muslim seriously the moment I hear of one standing up to say to Turks 'stop destroying the artefacts of ALL OUR SHARED HISTORY', then maybe I'll take them seriously.
