Please don't misunderstand me. I stated that I don't think Greece is necessarily 'better' than any other place, just special to me for reasons important to me. Nikolas on a post above summarises things beautifully. As for 'imitation', I wrote of the origins of ideas. If you personally Mike, repsect and regard a concept like say, democracy, then whether you like it or not, that's the little bit of Greek in you whether you are of Greek parents or not. Simple as that. Please don't resent all things Greek because those origin concepts are so pervasive. They are so pervasive because they are so human.
