I understand you completely. My family was furious and caused me all sorts of problems with my ex bf.. so I know what a huge problem can be.
By the way I lived in Spain for two years. In Madrid untill this past June. Where abouts are you? If you wife is a spaniard , there shouldn't be much diff bet. us and them at least I don't think so. But anyways.. whatever you do don't cut off all contact with your parents. thats terrible.
nor with your wife. Deal with them separately at first and try to bring them to at least accept each other. This is not a competition. One thing is mother son relation and another is wife husband. YOu need both! It will take time but try and be patient. hope this helps?? Greek mother in laws can be controlling but so can spaniard!!! (I see it with my friends!!)
