Hi Nikos. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit Thessaloniki 3 yrs ago for 1 day with a friend who used to live there. It is a nice city, clean, and I enjoyed looking at the ships and tower in the park. Someone was walking along the oceanfront with shiny balloons for sale, and I sat in the park near 2 little boys who were enjoying some ice cream while they sat up on the tree branches. Had a nice lunch outside of a cafe near the park. Regret not having seen enough of the city as we were in a hurry, but did enjoy the drive past Mt. Olympus to Athens.
