Here in Sydney we had a huge parade and celebrations infront of the Opera House. Our Archbishop, Prime minister and the Premier of Our state were in attendance as well as many other distinguished guests. The overcast weather and intermittent did not dampen enthusiasm. It was a fantastic day! The singing by the Australian Greek Orthodox Archdiocese choir (who sang at the Olympics and Paralympics) and the greek dancing by the various dance groups were excellent!
