If he changed after visiting his folks, something happened. Maybe you and he need to discuss reasons why he seems different. Maybe, he did tell his folks about you. Have you asked him directly if his folks know of you? Look, it may be nothing! But this will let you know if the two of you can discuss things that may be troubling you. Communication (and honesty) is the key to a good relationship.
