I have never heard of Eleni's comment either. If anything, I would think that the bride would get upset by not having any pictures of the parents. I just got married last September, and the only restrictions you might have is at the actual church. Some priest don't allow pictures to be taken on the alter, but the bride and groom will let you know about that when the time comes.
